Brian W. Biglin, AIA, NCARB, is founder and principal of the Westlake Village, CA based architecture firm of Biglin Architectural Group. Brian established his firm in 2000 with the goals of designing high quality, custom homes that inspire the owners and providing excellent client service.

Brian received his architectural degree from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (Sci-ARC) with a minor in architectural history focused on Frank Lloyd Wright. While at Sci-ARC, Brian studied under prominent Modern architect’s Ray Kappe, Dean Nota, Eric Moss, and Micheal Rotondi where he was taught a rich history of Modernism. He also received classical architecture training at the New York Institute of Classical Architecture and Art (ICAA) where he received the prestigious Certificate in Classical Architecture. He is a licensed architect in California and Pennsylvania, and a member with the American Institute of Architects (AIA), National Council of Architectural Review Boards (NCARB) , and the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art (ICAA).

The size and scope of our work ranges from medium-size remodels to large-scale, multi-million dollar custom homes. Completed projects include French Beaux-Arts, Italianate, Mediterranean, Craftsman, Contemporary and Modern homes located throughout the US with an emphasis in Southern California, including Belmont Shores, Bel Air, Beverly Hills and Laguna Beach. Our current projects in development include clients both in the US and overseas.

Our firm offers comprehensive services, from site analysis and planning through complete architectural design, regulatory agency approval and construction administration. Since 2000, the firm has grown from just Brian to a highly talented team of 11 architects, designers and administrative specialists. The company has built a reputation on integrity, professionalism, design excellence and exceptional client service.

We have a special place in our hearts for the residents of Malibu. Friends and clients have lost their homes and many memories in the recent fires. Biglin Architectural Group is here to help. We have experience with the City of Malibu and want to help however we can. Brian has spent a good deal of his professional and personal life in Malibu.
